Yay!!! Very soon, I’ll be off on a 2-week vacation to Chennailand. A much-deserved vacation, which comes after a long and hard period. No specific plans of what to do. Just planning to relax and be refreshed when I return.Β The usual stuff, reading and blogging, will hopefully continue on the vacation as well. πŸ™‚

So Chennai-vaasis, please do drop in a line on the places worth visiting and fun things to do in the city. Thanks.

Yay, yay, yay, yay and yay!!! πŸ˜€

    Elliots Beach (a.k.a) Besant Nagar Beach.

    Yeah. Movenpick. I have been there only once, two years back. I remember two incidents.

    We were around 7-8 guys there. The seats were so low that we were almost sitting on the floor! Next to us were this lovers (or) newly married couple who were getting all too romantic and Chuchi-kuuchi (i invented that) much to our stomach burnings!! The girl in fact seemed to be relishing all the attention she was getting from us and the frustration showed in the boy’s face! πŸ˜€

    And then, outside a gang of girls trying to park their car bumped slightly on a Santro parked nearby. We were sitting near the large glass window and happened to catch them in the act. Those nuts assumed that it was our car and apologized profusely from outside!!! We magnanimously forgave them through the window and they left with joy. We payed the bill, came out, looked around to see if the girls had left and then started our second-hand bikes and left the place.

    The prices were high I suppose. For 80Rs, I just got one small scoop 😦

  17. Band arrange pannalama?

    You need to visit two places… Pycrofts road – triplicane – road side book sale in the evening; lovely vegetarian dinner at cream center – R A Puram.

    Third optional – what about bloggers meet?

  18. priyaiyer

    that sounds delicious… thanks! πŸ™‚

    @vijay ganesh

    didn’t get ur comment.. 😦

  24. Priya…

    Hari said “The prices were high I suppose. For 80Rs, I just got one small scoop”; I replied “Hari… You spend less in that shop, looks like you read the rate card very well” – sorry for the spelling mistake – pls read as “spent”; Hari could have easily spoiled himself with Rs.250 ice cream with three different flavoured scoops with top-ups in that shop !!!

  25. priyaiyer

    @vijay ganesh

    oh ok ok. thanks. πŸ™‚
