Ramya, who writes here, has passed on the Bookworm Award to me.
Thanks, Ramya! This was a pleasant surprise! 🙂 Now, I am officially a ‘Bookworm’, tested and certified. 😛
The rules for passing on the award are:
- Open the closest book to you-not your favourite or most intellectual book, but the book closest to you at the moment-to page 56.
- Write out the fifth sentence as well as the next two to five sentences.
- Pass this on to five blogging friends.
Hmm, the book closest to me is ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’. 😛 Yes, I am in the mood for some fantasy after all that dark and dreary reading. A girl requires some magic in her life, no? 😛
Here goes the required excerpt from Page 56 of the book:
‘And we’ve got to get to school, haven’t we? And even underage wizards are allowed to use magic if it’s a real emergency, section nineteen or something of the Restriction of Thingy ……’
Harry’s feeling of panic turned suddenly to excitement.
‘Can you fly it?’
‘No problem,’ said Ron, wheeling his trolley around to face the exit. ‘C’mon, let’s go, if we hurry, we’ll be able to follow the Hogwarts Express.’
Now for the 5 bookworms I pass this on to:
Looking forward to your entries, people! 🙂
