After churches, it was time to visit the famous temples of Goa. We first went to the Mangeshi Temple. Night was just about to fall when we visited, and the temple was all lit up, adding to its magnificence.
The above snaps were taken at the Mangeshi Temple. I loved the sense of peace that prevails at this place. I felt satiated from within.
This snap was taken at the Shanta Durga Temple, again lit up brilliantly, and just awesome to look at. It’s a wonderfully peaceful place to be in.
On the way back to our hotel from the Shanta Durga temple, our taxi driver stopped to show us this Sai Baba temple. It is not a major tourist attraction, but I loved it all the same.
This was another temple we saw on another day. I loved the way temples are built in Goa – quite different from the ones I have seen elsewhere.
Oh ya! Very different and I lovvved the Shanta Durga temple 🙂
@Swaram
I loved it too, Swaram! 🙂
Lovely pictures of temples. They look quite different from the ones in South India.
@Kalyan
Thanks, Kalyan! 🙂
Very nice pictures. You should have a separate Travel Blog. 🙂
@Tanu
Thank you!! Oh, I don’t travel all that much, full-time I mean. Maybe someday, when I become a proper wanderer, I’ll have a separate blog for my travel tales. 🙂
Truly magnificent! Priya, thank you for sharing these gorgeous photos. I wish I were there. 🙂
@Suko
